Sonobe Commission
I created this one-of-a-kind origami composition for Steamclock Software in Vancouver, Canada in 2016. Sonobe is a type of modular origami that can be configured in an infinite number of ways.
The work was created to brighten up an otherwise dull meeting room/kitchen in a small office space, and also acted as an acoustic panel to dampen noise.
The finished piece is 45 inches by 43 inches mounted onto foam core, and is made up of 450 to 500 pieces of origami paper. It was custom framed at Frame of Mind in Vancouver.
