Workshop for artists: Why it’s time to Move off Big Tech Social Media

In this workshop for artists & creatives, we will guide you through the latest social media options better aligned with your values.

Why it’s time to move off big tech social media
A session for artists, craftspeople, makers, designers, and creatives

Using big tech platforms and social media is no longer sustainable for artists, designers, and other creative industries. There has also been recent interest and growth in Bluesky and Pixelfed as potential alternatives.

Many people are struggling with the decision of what to do next. What are these alternatives to Instagram or X? How will they avoid the issues existing platforms have? and is it worthwhile to move to new social media?

In this three hour peer learning workshop, we will guide you through the social media landscape and identify options that are better aligned with your values and goals. We want to help people get the information they need.
