Portal Pop-up Gallery - October 2026

For the month of October I have an site specific 3D paper installation, and two framed low-relief paper sculptures on display in the windows of Portal Pop-up Gallery. I worked on the installation for a few months over the summer, and challenged myself to finally scale up the paper modules I’d been making for the past year. The modular installation is made up of thirteen individual paper sculptures, and are hung using magnets.

Portal Pop-up Gallery is a street level window space on Cordova Street in the Gastown area of Vancouver. The space is volunteer run and curated by artist, Rebecca Bayer, who has a studio located in the building.

The windows are best viewed during office hours when the security gates are folded out of the way.
