First Saturday Open Studios - June 1st

It’s another new month, and that means it is another edition of First Saturday Open Studios! There will be almost thirty artists with their studios open this weekend at Parker Street, and more all over the city. Visit the First Saturday website to view the full list of participating artists.

This week I have been working away in the studio, not on new artwork but on the space itself. My studio mate moved out on Monday, and in the aftermath there’s been lots of furniture moving, cleaning, mopping, patching, painting, and hanging art. This refresh of the space has been a long time coming and I cannot tell you how EXCITED I am to share it with people.
