I’m really looking forward to the upcoming show of collaborative works by Neal Nolan and Eben Bender aka Weakhand. He’s one of my favorite Vancouver-based street artists. The above shot is one of his most recent pieces (located on Pender Street), and he was also one of 150 Vancouver artists in last Saturday evening’s “Cheaper Show” in Gastown. His works are done with a mix of airbrush, acrylic, inks, and text, with imagery focused on portraiture.

The show opens Friday at Little Mountain Studios on Main Street, and runs until July 7th. Both artists will be in attendance opening night.

I’m working on a series of collaged pieces on wooden cradle frames. This is the second in the series, and I posted about the first one last week. For now I’m not sure where I am going with these works or whether they will have a common theme. I’m mostly just doing them for enjoyment.

I’m having a tiny show of my work at Cafe Duma on Broadway. The show opens next Saturday April 5th, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. I decided to go with a selection of the diptych images I’ve been putting together over the last few years, and I’m very happy with the how it has all come together.
I’m looking forward to seeing them hanging on the walls of Cafe Duma. You should come see.
