Hi, my name is Rachael Ashe. I am a visual artist, currently living in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

The above photo was blogged on the front page of Utata today, along with a wonderful write up by Greg Fallis. Greg has been a long time Flickr friend, and I’m always pleased when he stops by my photo stream with a thoughful comment about my work. I am very pleased with his written accompaniment of this photo. It makes me long for a new red bike, a warm sunny day, and a joyride around the seawall.

Lovely shot and congrats on the write-up! Sherlock Holmes and his 42 tyres… well I want to get out and get my bike in order! Let’s make a date for cycling… it’s nearly time after all.

I would love to get a brand new bike, or rather a different bike then I have, but I will make do. If you know how to do a tune up, then I’m in for a bike ride sometime.
