I feel a little silly posting a photo of a cat, but I really like this shot. The textures and colours of the peeling paint on the wall behind just make it for me. I decided to crop this to square, something I wouldn’t normally do, because the foreground was boring and distracting. Normally I tend to crop in camera, but I couldn’t get any closer because the cat was skittish.

This isn’t exactly what I’d call a “cat photo.” It’s very beautiful; those textures are amazing!!
